At Puddleducks we offer a range of sessions between 7.30 am- 6 pm Monday-Friday. We close for public bank holidays and a few days between Christmas and New Year. Parents will be notified in advance of these dates. 

 We require all children to attend a minimum of 2 sessions per week. We encourage children to start moving towards full-time care in their last term in the preschool room to prepare them for the transition to ‘Big’ school. 

 Fees are based on 52 weeks of the year, paid monthly in advance.

 The staff at our nursery are committed, skilled and most of all passionate about their role, the children and parents. Our staff take great pride in providing high-quality service. Making both children and their families feel welcome and at ease during their time at the setting.

Grants and funding schemes

We are pleased to offer help with childcare costs through a range of government schemes.  If your child receives funding this will show on your monthly invoice. 

All three and four-year-olds are entitled to 15 hours of free early education per week until they go into a Reception class. The entitlement is paid from the term after the child turns 3 years old.

In addition, working families are entitled to an extra 15 hours per week meaning a total of 30 hours of free early education per week.

We also subscribe to Tax-Free Childcare.

There is funding available for two-year-olds whose families are on low incomes or receiving certain benefits.

The Nursery is registered with many voucher schemes. If your employer provides these, it could be a cost-effective method to pay for your child’s nursery education.
